Description:

As artists we try to achieve color, unusual textures and patterns in our jewelry designs. You will learn how to make a gorgeous pendant with a faux reticulation technique. The hills, valleys and swirls achieved with this process reminds me of a fresh lava flow. Students marvel at the gorgeous, almost instantaneous results they get after trying it. Students will learn how to use silver scraps to make amazing texture and patterns on a copper base, add fantastic flame painted colors to their pendants, and how to make a soldered sterling silver bail using a small butane torch.

You WILL complete this project in class.
