This popular design features two different types of beaded flowers and two kinds of leaves. Many stitches are used in an introductory manner that is welcoming to advanced bead weaving students wishing to explore more techniques. Stitches include herringbone, brick, right angle weave, fringe and peyote. You will make a berry cluster, two kinds of flowers and leaves to create a pair of earrings.
Project will not be finished in class. This is an intermediate project that is suitable for an adventurous beginner. Class length- 3-4 hours
Each flower is a finished component that can be used in other designs. Requires some ability to work with “fiddly” beadwork. The finished earrings are 3” long.

Description:
This versatile design can be created in multiple colorways, in any or all variations. The bracelet band combines candy and cushion beads while the floral center is made with delica bead petals surrounding a cushion bead bezelled with 11/0, 15/0 and delica beads. Bracelet with floral center and skittles band- wrap five cushion beads, add delica bead petal embellishment to one of the wrapped beads, and connect the bracelet together using candy beads. Skittles band- wrap six to seven cushion beads and connect them together using candy beads.
Floral pendant- wrap a single cushion bead and embellish it with delica bead petals, add a bail. Can be worn as a pendant, or make two for a pair of statement earrings. Also demonstrated will be more variations on assembled jewelry using the same components learned in class (necklace and earrings) In this class you will learn how to create a secure bezel that can be used with to wrap rivolis, stone cabochons or
beads. The bezelled component will be used as a starting point from which you will create both the flower and the band.

Description:

Students will learn how to form and torch solder (using a small butane torch known in cooking circles as a creme brulee torch) sterling silver sheet metal into a ring that will be custom sized to his or her finger, how to make the spinners, and learn the secret of how to keep the
spinners from falling off the ring band! After the ring is complete, it will be tumbled to a glorious shine. Customize the ring by choosing to make a straight or wavy edge on the band, leave it smoothly pristine, hammer it for a cool faceted look, or choose to decorate it using metal stamps of your choice. Then select the metal or metals you want for the spinners. So many choices–so little time!
Students must tie back long hair, wear closed toe shoes, and avoid wearing loose flowing clothing

For this class I’ve borrowed the theme of feathers to create a fanciful necklace enhanced with a bezel set stone and a beaded necklace cord. Students will learn how to design and cut out a feather pendant from silver sheet metal. They will texture it to simulate each little tuft of feathers, and a quill will be made with sterling silver wire which will be soldered onto the pendant. A variety of

Peekaboo I see you! This was one of those pieces that came about by just playing around with beads. I had some of those awesome Miyuki cotton pearls in just about every size. So I just picked a size and went with it. You will capture the cotton pearl with a simple bezel of beads, working into a drop shape. Then the fun really begins with the embellishing! I love to embellish! We will use some Rose Montee’s, Czech crystal pearls, 2 True beads, Miyuki spacer beads, and seed beads for this piece. Suspend this pendant from a bead circle. You will have several options for wearing this piece. You will decide if you want to wear the piece as a pendant from a short necklace
strap or worn long. Several colors available.

Using endless hoop earrings as the base for your brick stitched beadwork we will build these trendy
earrings. Brick stitch and fringe in two steps. Adjust the fringe to your personal preference. Make
them long or a little shorter. You will have your choice of three precious metal bases: sterling
silver, gold filled and rose gold filled. The base color of the beads will match the color of your
chosen earring, add a touch of black and choose two
accent colors, add a Rizzo bead to embellish the end of your fringe. Stitches used: Brick stitch.

Description:
Experience a new metal surface treatment in this crash course on powder coating for jewelry. Work with a variety of metals such as aluminum, bronze, copper, brass, titanium, and steel. Powder coating pigments are adhered through an electrostatic charge and then cured through baking. Students will cut and prep shapes for jewelry before coating with a number of color choices. The instructor will provide information on the process as well as tools and materials needed for powder coating. Time will be allotted for basic jewelry assembly.

Description:

This lovely bracelet is set with 3 copper discs, a glass eye cabachon, and embellished beautiful texture.You will learn how to texture metal, rivet, heat patina,and how to set the eye in prong setting. You can choice from different colored eyes or bring your own 15mm or 16mm  round cabachon of your choice to set.                                          

 You WILL complete this project in class.

Kit: $25 – This cost is in addition to the class fee paid directly to Instructor

String glass pearls, long magatama beads, braid them to the rope, and put bead-cap, wire the clasp to finish the bracelet. You  learn the technique to create your own beautiful bracelet
