Technique: Annealing/Hot Connections/Metalwork/Stone Setting
Skills and techniques taught: Soldering. Make a step bezel. Setting a stone in a step bezel. Forming a sterling silver wire flourish.  

Description: You have no silver sheet to set your stones in? No problem! In this class you’ll learn how to make a step (open back) bezel to capture and set your lovely stones. This technique is one that will expand your stone setting options and offer cost savings to you by eliminating expensive sterling silver sheet. After your bezel has been made you’ll embellish your piece with a flourish of sterlling silver wire. Create your own flourish or use ideas that the instructor will provide. Everything you need for this class will be provided to you. There’s nothing you need to bring to class!  You’ll be provided with everything you need for this project. Wear closed toe shoes, tie back long hair, and don’t wear loose flowing clothing. 

You WILL complete this project in class.

Kit: $40.00 – This cost is in addition to the class fee and is paid directly to the instructor in class

Kit includes: Sterling or fine silver bezel wire. Round and square sterling silver wire. Selection of stones, Waxed cotton cord or
stainless steel necklace chain.

Instructor will bring: Soldering supplies and soldering setup, pliers, cutters, hammers, pickle pot, pickling solution, bench grinder/polisher, torches,
butane, silver wire, sterling or fine silver bezel wire, stones. Typed instructions.

Skills Required: Willingness to use a small butane torch.

Materials You are Required to Bring: No need to bring anything. Everything needed to complete this project will be provided in class

Technique: Bead Weaving & Stitching/Bead Embroidery with hard French Wire
Skills and techniques taught: Students will learn bead embroidery with Hard French Wire, how to make
herringbone bail, and finishing edges

Description: The fern is one of the most ancient plants on earth. Legends say that the person who finds the fern flower will learn to understand the language of animals, able to see treasures underground, and stay happy and lucky. But, as we all know, for a flower to bloom, you first need to plant and grow a plant. I invite you to grow your very personal Fern Sprout Pendant and let the magic happen.

You WILL complete this project in class.

Kit: $80.00 – This cost is in addition to the class fee and is paid directly to the instructor in class
Kit includes: Felt with drawn image & iron on material, Oval rivoly in setting, Gemduo, size 11 seed beads, 4mm bicones, Hard French wire, leather for the backing, crystal teardrop pendant.

Skills Required: Basic herringbone and basic bead embroidery

Materials You are Required to Bring: Beading needle #11 or 12, Scissors, E6000 glue, FireLine 4 or 6 lb tested, Beading matt, matches, toothpick or popsicle stick to spread the glue.

Skills and techniques taught: How to color metal with colored pencils, riveting, design and proper tool use.

Description: If you love whimsical asymmetrical necklaces and want to have fun making jewelry, this class is for you. You don’t have to know how to draw to make a fun piece. Create your own design or one the teacher will provide with my colored pencil on copper technique. Beginners as well as seasoned crafter will enjoy this class, No prior experience needed.

Instructor will bring: All tools needed to create this project, hammers, steel, cutters, pliers, files and more.

You WILL complete this project in class. Kit: $30 – This cost is in addition to the class fee and is paid directly to the instructor in class

Kit includes: Five pre-cut pieces of copper, wire, chain, rivets, color prep and more. Optional : Students can bring their own Prismacolor Premier colored pencils or share the teaches pencils with the class.

Skills Required: None

Materials You are Required to Bring: Optional but helpful if the student brings their own Prismacolor Premier colored pencils.

Skills and techniques taught: Jewelry design and basic jewelry skills

Description: In this fun and creative workshop students will be creating unique one of a kind jewelry using originalvintage watch parts. Students will be taught the design and layout of gears, cogs,and wheels with attention to dimension to give the look and feel of motion.We will also cover basic jewelry skills. Each student will leave with two pieces of finished jewelry to add to their collection.
You WILL complete this project in class.

Kit: $25.00 – This cost is in addition to the class fee and is paid directly to the instructor in class
Kit includes: Everything needed to complete project – Vintage watch parts, hardware, embellishments, and findings

Skills Required: Finger dexterity, bring glasses if needed

Instructor Will Bring: All materials and tools needed.

Materials You are Required to Bring: Apron, Lap towel, Basic jewelry tool kit if they have it consisting of chain nose pliers, round nose pliers, flush cutters. Teacher will also have tools to share if needed.
