Description:

Make a beautiful necklace with enamel on copper. It is unpredictable how the colors may flow, making your jewelry a piece of art. We will be use beautiful watercolor/china and mason powder. Make your design your very own original design. Mason stains and watercolor is a medium that uses ground glass. China powder is minerals used mixed with a special medium to allow it to tint or color your application. Ink is used with mason stains or china powder mixed with oils. So much fun work with all 3 mediums.

You can wear your design home and it can accessorize your favorite outfit. This will be a fun and relaxing class.

You WILL complete this project in class.

Kit: $45.00 – This cost is in addition to the class fee paid directly to the instructor in class
Kit includes:

Copper piece for the backing of the piece, chain to finish the necklace, 4 Jump rings to attach chain to copper backing and clasp, and clasp for closing the chain. Use of mason stains, watercolors and china powder for the piece during class. Ideas for design, instructions for the class and the temperature for the kiln. Everything needed to have a completed piece to wear home. Masks will be provided for the powders students will use when sifting the powders to protect from breathing in the dust. All tools and materials needed will be provided to share in class, like kiln, firing fork, trivets, rack, sifters and pliers.

Description:

Make a beautiful necklace with enamel on copper. It is unpredictable how the colors may flow, making your jewelry a piece of art. We will be use beautiful enamel powder over crackle to make your design your very own original design. Crackle is a medium that uses ground glass to move the top layers of enamel to make a distorted design in your masterpiece. Crackle will make an original that will not be able to be reproduced. you will create an original!

You can wear your design home and it can accessorize your favorite outfit. This will be a fun and relaxing class.

Description:

Make a beautiful necklace with enamel on copper. It is unpredictable how the colors flow on your copper piece, making each piece of jewelry an original piece of art. We will be using pressed forms, leaves, flowers and other pressed pieces of nature. If you choose, you can also use paper stencils. There will be different shadow form that you can choose from. These will be provided by Gail, or you can bring a favorite from home. Arrive early to choose your shadow pieces. All tools and materials needed will be provided to share in class, including enamels, Klyr Fire firing rack, firing fork, trivets, sifters, pliers, pressed leaves and assorted stencils.

The pieces that you make can be worn home, and can make it to accessorize a favorite outfit. This will be a fun and relaxing class.

Description:
Create this whimsical bird with the look of an enameled piece without the use of a kiln! This amazing technique uses colored pencil and permanent ink to color a copper surface. In this workshop you will learn how to create this “birds of a feather” by preparing copper to accept hand-applied color for a permanent effect, and how to use metal stamps, fluid color and patina to design a beautiful pendant you can be proud of. Beginners welcome! No prior skills or experience is needed.

You WILL complete this project in class.

Kit: $25 – This cost is in addition to the class fee paid directly to the instructor in class
Kit includes:
Copper, several grades of sand paper, turpentine, alcohol, liquid prep, jump rings, cotton, patina. And all supplies needed and written instructions. All tools needed to complete this project like hammers, pliers, etc.

Create the look of an enameled piece without the use of a kiln! This amazing technique uses colored pencil and permanent ink to color a copper surface.
